Google’s tracking software for smartphone cameras has some new features this week.

Google Lens will be updated with several new features this week. According to Google, recognition software for smartphone cameras should also prove to be a useful tool in the home office or while studying .

After the update, Google Lens not only can recognize and save handwritten notes , but can also send them with the “copy to computer” function em> to another device connected via Chrome . During the Coronavirus crisis and related exit restrictions, many people seem to want to learn a new language. According to Google , the frequency of the search term “learn a new language” has almost doubled in recent months.

Again new updates should help. The tool already manages pure text translation , now it also helps with correct pronunciation . To do this, users must simply highlight the desired text in Lens and then press the “Listen” button. Google Lens plays the audio with the correct pronunciation.

Google Lens also wants to help understand difficult texts with a new feature. If a user encounters a word they don’t know while reading, they can mark it and view appropriate search results and definitions via Google Lens .

Starting today, the update for Google Lens will be delivered for iOS and Android .

IOS users need only be patient for the “Listen” feature.

The function should only follow in the coming weeks. It is available for Android from today. Google Lens can be accessed through the Google app on iOS devices and through the Google Lens app on Android devices.
